TEST "RETAKES" & "CORRECTIVES":

• The goal of retaking a test is NOT to get more points. The goal of retaking a test is to SHOW you have learned the skills and are fully ready to demonstrate what you have learned. Getting a better score and grade is evidence that you learned.

• Retaking an assessment requires quite a bit more work that redoing and assignment.

• The math department has a very specific procedure that allows students to retake tests and quizzes.

• Please review the documents and video below so you are familiar with the retake "corrective" procedure.
